Mystery Tomato of Unknown Origin


The seed for this delicious beauty came from the Taste of Tomato party in Boulder - that's right - at Harlequin's Gardens - not to be missed in the future. I smeared a few seeds from my taste-testing bite into my pocket and we grew it out. Not only is the color ridiculous but the flavor stood up to the masses, described as good balanced deep tomato flavor with thick walls. This tomato is fleshy around the outside and juicy in the middle.

We have more to learn about this mystery tomato - we are not sure if the name is correct or not but we will grow it again and share what we learn.
