Mountain Gardeners - this one's for you! Our cool summer temperatures make growing greens all summer easy! Don't forget you can grow greens in almost full shade to protect them from the harsh high-altitude sun! Keep cutting just above the growing crown for 'cut-and-come-again' constant salad greens. You can broadcast these seeds and never thin them for continual baby greens. We've been growing our salads this way for decades, you won't be sorry!
Greens like cool temperatures so those of you down below, plant in early spring and again in fall to avoid the summer's heat. You can succession plant every three weeks for continued harvest as well.
This divine mix includes:
Spotty Troutback, Anuenue, Black Seeded Simpson, Red Eared Butterheart, Mescher and Manoa Leopard.
Direct seed no more than 1/4" and keep moist through germination.
