Aunt Molly’s Ground Cherry - Self-seeding Annual

Physalis pruinosa 70 days

Sweet & delicious. ½”-3/4” fruits are ripe when golden and the papery husk tan. Incredibly prolific and easy-to-grow! Sow indoors 6 weeks before the last frost.

You can also sow ¼” deep in warm soil in spring.

Use this fruit to bake pies, make jam, or eat fresh. Do not eat green fruits. Allow to reseed for years of 'free food'.
