Desert Penstemon Penstemon pseudospectabilis Perennial

Native to New Mexico, (also CA, UT and AZ), this glorious Penstemon likes it lean and hot. Plant in well drained soil in full sun. The deep coral pink color is a knock-out in the garden! The reddish/green leaves are fused together at the stem and they are evergreen. Hummingbirds adore this plant as do many pollinators.

Needs 1 month of stratification, you can plant in late fall or during the winter months.

Grows 2-3' tall. Can grow to about 7,000'.
