Angelica - Angelica archangelica - Biennial

I love this plant so much. For many years I would be sure to have a first year plant and a second year plant - so I would never be without. As a biennial, it blooms in it's second year, sets seed and dies. The green umbels are absolutely loved by beneficial insects.

It is a showy plant, with tropical-looking large leaves. It can grow to 6' easily and in bloom, it is a thing to behold.

Angelica is both edible and medicinal. People always ask, "What is THAT?" Angelica!

Stratify seeds 1-2 months or plant in fall or early winter. Plant them 1/4" deep. They bloom in early summer in the second year. Later that fall, the seeds will be ripe.

Small batch. Limited Supply.
