Mortgage Lifter - 95 days - West Virginia - Indeterminate - Heirloom
This is a long season heirloom tomato that so many people love, I decided to carry it. Mountain folk, this will not make it outside without cover or a greenhouse, but you can plant it in a large pot to bring inside in the fall.
The name comes from a guy in the 1920's who paid off his mortgage selling these plants. I'm always game for a good story but I also want good flavor. These tomatoes can easily reach 2 lbs!
A classic heirloom - large, red, mostly round with old fashioned tomato flavor. The one-slice burger tomato for sure. Disease Resistant.
Start seeds indoors 4-8 weeks before the last frost.
