Gourmet Beet Blend - Beta vulgaris - 50-60 days
A beautiful array of colorful beets. Beets are easy to grow and store a long time in the fridge. This mix includes White Albino, Detroit Dark Red, Chioggia, Golden Detroit and Bull's Blood.
Direct seed 1/2" deep in spring. Beet seeds are a capsule with multiple seeds inside. You can thin them after they come up or let them work it out. As you harvest baby beets, the surrounding ones will have room to grow bigger.
Cold hardy, beets can be planted in early spring. They can also be planted in late summer for a fall crop.
