Bright Lights Swiss Chard - Beta vulgaris

Very easy to grow, cold hardy crop. Plant 1/2" in early spring 6-12" apart. You can eat the thinnings of course. Crunchy, juicy, brightly colored chard is highly versatile. Colors come in dark pink, yellow, orange, light pink and a few almost white.
Chard can be used like celery and adds crunch to any dish. Stems and leaves are edible.
You can add it to your cut-and-come-again greens mixtures and harvest as baby greens or let them become mature for pounds of produce and thick stems. Great for stir fries, cheese boards, soups and juicing.
