This rare variety comes from The Sandhill Preservation Center and my original seed stock is from Vibrant Earth Seeds.
Dark, large fruits come on early - only 75 days! Eggplants need warmth. It is best to wait to set out plants until the weather is stable and the soil is warmed.
Start seeds 4-6 weeks before the last frost, harden off well and set out on 2' centers. Sow seeds lightly, no more than 1/4" and press them in gently. Keep moist through germination.
