Spreading Fleabane

Annual, Biennial or Short-lived Perennial

I've always loved this sweet little creeper. It sends out long, branching stems that send up more flowers. It knocks itself out with blooms. Blooms can be white, lavender or pink. Blooms March-Nov.

Only 7-14" tall, this little fleabane has a lovely way of filling in open spots. Since it can't decide if it's an annual or not, it will move around the garden. Some years it was stay fairly small and other years it will happily branch out.

I've seen it in full sun to half shade.

Tap-rooted, the first year it will grow the rosette and bloom the second year.

Plant in fall or spring. Sow the tiny seed carefully with a bit of sand. Do not bury too deep!
