NEW FOR 2026!!

Early Jalapeño - 66 days

Capsicum annuum

I love this pepper. Cord and I have grown it here on the mountain since the very beginning. Wildly prolific, the small, stocky plants are easy to fit in anywhere, including containers.

2 1/2" fruits. Eat them green or allow them to mature. It lands at 6,000 - 10,000 Scoville Units, growing conditions do affect the heat.

Jalapeño's are a staple crop for us and are highly versatile.

Start seeds indoors 4 weeks before the last frost. Harden plants off well before setting out. High-altitude sun can scorch any pepper plants, so we use a bit of shade cloth to tone it down. Even afternoon shade will help prevent scorching
