This seed comes from the ancient giants that grow here on this land we call home. This is the tree that bears pine nuts, a highly nutritious, edible seed. These trees grow slowly and are incredibly drought tolerant. This is an investment in the future.
Piñon Pine Trees produce nuts every 3-7 years. This particular region is on a 3 year schedule now. When we first moved here, they were bearing every 7 years.
These trees are sacred to me and their seeds even more so. I send 12 precious seeds in a packet.
