Orach Mix - annual - 38-45 days - Atriplex hortensis
Mountain Spinach. A must have for the mountain garden and let it reseed! Oh my - another 'first greens in spring', Orach is a tall, upright spinach that can get as big as you! You pick the incredibly meaty large leaves right off the main stem and it will replace them.
So good - we use them fresh in salads or to roll up grilled sausage, for lettuce wraps or to stuff with anything you want. Delicious raw or cooked, it pops up so early and grows so easily, you will never be without it. Picture shows red and gold but expect more colors.
