Flint Yellow
75 days - Colorado - Indeterminate
I got this seed from plants I grew 2 years ago - in the open. I got the plants from Perennial Favorite's in Rye Colorado; they were featuring these real Colorado heirlooms in their catalog and I had to try them. Turns out - many years of adaptation to Colorado makes these plants vigorous and strong and they grew their first year here in the open at 8,000'.
Original seed comes from the Bill Flint family who passed it down to Michael Boyd who shared it with our friends at Perennial Favorites who sold plants to me who collected the seeds who hopes to sell them to you. This is how it works.
A most excellent find, the flavor of both is outstanding.
Flint Yellow is full-bodied and fruity - great flavor. The plant is covered with trusses of bright yellow beauties. A must try for the Colorado gardener. This little plum will get your attention for flavor and yield. A real Colorado heirloom.
